the fierce beasts with open mouthed expressions and intricately curled manes, each wearing a large bell pendant, the ribbon with lotus head decoration, variously carved with one paw on a brocade ball the other on a small lion cub, seated on a tiered ivory base - 12½in. (31.8cm) high, wood stand with inlaid silver wire decoration. (2)
