A Tibetan gilt-bronze model of Manjushree, 18th century
mounted on a recumbent lion, seated in lalitasana, with one hand raised and the other resting on the left knee, flanked by a flaming sword emerging from a lotus stem and an undulating floral stem, wearing a flowing dhoti secured with a belt, necklaces, earrings and bracelets, the face with eyes downcast in a serene expression, wearing a foliate tiara framing the high chignon -- 5 1/8in. (13cm.) high.
