1872, BOTH SIGNED L(OUIS) SOLON, ONE DATED (18)72, IMPRESSED MARKS AND YEAR CYPHERS
Each decorated by Louis Solon, one with a seated classical maiden releasing a cherub from a cage, her hand outstretched to feed him, the other with an enchained cherub perched on a branch beside a seated maiden, the reverse each with a cherub, classical ornament and fruiting foliage, between brown and gilt borders and green scrollwork below the handles
