Each of square footed form, the red lacquer ground decorated in gold hiramaki-e, togidashi-e, kinji, hirame and tsukegaki with crabs and flowers, the sides with bamboo, plum, camellia and water hollyhock below a band of keyfret, the exterior with lobed panels depicting landscape and floral scenes
