Each executed in silk, wool and gold thread; the upper register of the left fragment with a depiction of the Virgin (or Magdalene) reading a book, and another male saint beneath; the right fragment with two unidentifiable saints in both registers; each in a modern rectangular wood frame; minor fading to the flesh tones and the reds and greens
