The cross with an applied figure of Christ to the centre and additional applied figures of the four Evangelists to the terminals and an another of St. Veronica below St. Matthew; the cross also with fourteen circular drill holes formerly containing relics and each engraved 'STA.' and numbered I - XIV; the octagonal base veneered on five sides and decorated with scenes of the Annunciation, The Visitation, The Nativity, The Baptism and The Flight into Egypt; the base inscribed 'GALILE. GIOVANNISABAT D' BETLME ANNO DE S....' and 'S' ANNUNZIATA', 'VISITAZIONE D S. ELISAPETTA', 'NATIVITA D.N.J.C', 'LA BATTESIMA' and 'FUG IN EGITTO'; very minor losses
