This 2709 was used by both Sewell and BAFTA award-winning animator Tupys as their rostrum camera. It was acquired by Tupys, on Sewell's death, as part of his studio. As such it is probable, although unconfirmed, that it was used to film the Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds sequence from The Beatles' Yellow Submarine (1968), on which Sewell worked. No. 268 was sold new to the Supply Office of the U.S. Army Signal Corps, 19th Battalion Washington D.C. on 8th June 1918.
