This watch is accompanied by a Patek Philippe presentation box with outer packaging, Certificate of Origin dated 16 January 1998, Attestation, Booklet and silver presentation medallion in leather wallet.

The Pagoda model was specially produced in 1997 to celebrate the inauguration of Patek Philippe's new watchmaking centre in Geneva.

The reference 5500 was made in a limited edition of 1100 examples in 18k yellow gold, 500 in 18k pink gold, 250 in 18k white gold and 150 in platinum.
