Nightingale in the East. No imprint, [c.1856]. 260 x 100mm. Large woodcut at head, signed 'B.', of Florence Nightingale comforting a wounded soldier. A Life by de Galley Fire. London: A. Ryal and Co., [c.1840]. Woodcut at head of a jolly dancing negress. An amusing poem beginning 'A Life by de galley fire,/An a home in de ole Caboose, Is de one I much admier [sic].
