Woodcut device on title (lacks the final blank, title reinforced rather crudely at the margins, repaired tear in 3Y3, light browning, a little waterstaining). Contemporary English calf, 2 single gilt line borders round sides, the inner one with fleuron cornerpieces, gilt oval decoration at centre (rebacked, very rubbed, corners worn). Provenance: unintelligible contemporary ownership inscriptiopn at head of title - Amy Jenkyns (near-contemporary purchase inscription, 7/6, at head of [para]2r - 17th-century leather gilt coat-of-arms pasted to spine, presumably taken from the earlier binding - Paul H. Beves (bookplate). STC 4422.
