Title within a typographical border and with a woodcut device, woodcut headpieces and initials (title defective and mounted with part of the border supplied in facsimile, margins of following 3 leaves repaired with partial loss of line-border, tear in I1, lower fore-corner torn away from X5, hole in Mm4, flaw in 3F1, all slightly affecting text, last leaf partly backed, occasional staining and spotting). Early 19th-century half calf, gilt spine with black lettering piece (rubbed, corners worn). Provenance: Lucretia Wickstead, 1661 (ownership inscription on A2r) -- From the Library of John Jackson (1793-1875) of Academy Place, Warrington (bookplate).
