[Bound with]: MATTHIEU, Pierre (1563-1621). The History of Lewis the Eleventh, translated by Edward Grimeston. London: George Eld, 1614. Woodcut portrait of Louis XI on title, woodcut headpieces and initials, with the initial and final blank (lacks 4F2, first word of title cropped). STC 17662. 2 works in one volume, 2° (270 x 170mm). (Margins cut very close affecting a few genealogical diagrams in the first work and a few headlines in both works, very light discolouration and spotting).
