Half title, 2 photogravure protraits of King George V and George VI, title printed in red and black, plates, many coloured. Finely-bound in red morocco, upper cover with Royal coat-of-arms stamped in gilt, lower cover with central stylised rose design, spine with raised bands and lettered and decorated in gilt, top edges gilt (a few light scuff marks). Provenance: FROM THE COLLECTION OF HER ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCESS MARGARET, COUNTESS OF SNOWDON. The book is sold with a Kensington Palace/Christie's Certificate of Provenance, signed by Edward Dolman and Viscount Linley, with wax seal, contained in a suede folder.
