With a 2pp. A.L.s. from Gill to Cassells, 12°, 14 December 1929, thanking the publishers for his author's copies and informing them that he has received payment from Mrs. Walterson, but regretting 'that my part in the production is not more up-date' and the absence of his Perpetua Italic and also that the price of the ordinary edition is so high that he fears that his 'friends & relatives & benefactors' might not be able to buy it freely.
