FIRST EDITION, NUMBER 95 OF 200 COPIES. With two original cubist etchings by Exter. Chauvelin describes Exter's work of the period, created in a climate fevered by war and impending revolution, as characterized by a 'radical novelty' (p.118). Exter collaborated again with Aksenov on his Picasso (1917) -- a book which she inspired and for which she produced the cover. RARE: ABPC records no copy at auction for over 30 years.
