Two interesting surveys of Mecklenburg by the Prussian Colonel, Graf von Schmettau, based on work by Karl Friederich R.von Wiebelung (1782-1842). The copperplates for the 1788 work were carried off by the French to Paris and later purchased back by the Dukes of Mecklenburg. Today they are in the archives in Schwerin. (2)
