Two rare maps of Spain's Balearic Islands of Majorca and Minorca, by the Venetian Ferrando Bertelli, thought to be the earliest depictions of either island by any member of the Lafreri School. Both maps are finely engraved and feature pictorial representations the major towns. The seas that gird each island are enlivened by the presence of ships, and in the case of the map of Minorca, by sea monsters.
