A LATE 18TH CENTURY NEO-CLASSICAL, GOLD AND ENAMEL MOURNING BROOCH
Designed as a miniature amphora with blue enamel and half-pearl decoration set in the centre with a sepia painted vignette of a grieving lady beside a pedestal tomb with the legend E.W. NOT LOST BUT GONE BEFORE the reverse engraved A.D. 1787
