Good appearance. Levels base of neck or better
Tasting Note: First, a strange cask sample, which had a fig-like nose. At a tasting in 1995 I described the wine as "vegetal" and though it had good fruit, I queried the finish. More recently, the bouquet was more normal, cedary, 'old oak'; a fairly rich mouthful. *** Some may rate it more highly. M.B.
