Swiss import labels. Very good appearance. Levels base of neck or better
Tasting Note: At one year old, advanced puppy fat, amazingly full, fleshy, rich, complete. Developing a spicy bouquet by the mid-1980's. On its 10th birthday, having decanted it for 4 hours, it was really showing off unashamedly. Opulent but blunt. Mulberry-ripe richness, fleshy, round, powerful finish but lacking the subtlety and finesse of the Cheval Blanc. Most recently, one of a really terrific line-up of over 50 top wines at a Christie's pre-sale tasting in New York. Sweet. Delicious. **** M.B.
