Tasting Note: Three notes: showing magnificently well, with my top marks at the Yquem/Schloss Johannisberg tasting in 1984, its richness verging on unctuous. Very good acidity and dry finish. Most recently, an odd bottle, pale amber, bouquet of old apricots and honey; pure caramel flavour, excellent acidity. At best *****. M.B.
