Designed as an owl, with a faceted cabochon sapphire body, star ruby eyes enhanced by brown coloured diamond feathers, perching on a diamond branch, mounted in 18k white and yellow gold, 4.0 cm high
With maker's mark for Etcetera
With report no. 46053 dated 22 March 2006 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Laboratory stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating
With report no. 0607065 dated 24 July 2006 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin and the rubies are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, also with an additional comment stating that sapphires and rubies which have not been heated are scarce
