Centering upon a heart-shaped ruby weighing 5.21 carats, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the brilliant-cut diamond shoulders, mounted in 18k white gold, ring size 5½
With report no. 0608501 dated 22 August 2006 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating and with an additional comment stating that rubies which have not been heated are scarce, this colour variety of ruby may also be called "pigeon's blood red" in the trade
With report no. CS38377 dated 26 May 2006 from the American Gemological Laboratories stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no heat and clarity enhancement
