Geneva, circa 1780/1800, with prestige marks including maker's mark 'LFT', a pseudo-parisian date-letter crowned 'K', a rosette resembling the charge mark of Julien Alaterre and a hen's head resembling the discharge mark of Julien Berthe
Oval box, the panels on the hinged cover, sides and base enamelled with gold glitter simulating Japanese nashiji lacquer on an orange ground, within borders of translucent orange ovolos, white and translucent blue stripes and white enamelled gold taille d'épargne husk rims
