The inscription on this drawing is similar to one on a drawing of two écorché legs in the Royal Library, Windsor (F. Hartt, The Drawings of Michelangelo, London, 1971, p. 117, no. 132E, as Follower of Michelangelo, but attributed by Paul Joannides to Michelangelo himself).
