with inscriptions 'N Poussin' (recto, partly erased) and 'N. 72' (verso, laid down)
black chalk, pen and brown ink, brown wash, black chalk framing lines, watermark crowned coat-of-arms with three fleurs-de-lys above two joined keys

Provenance
An unidentified 18th Century English collector's mount with inscription 'By Nic: Perelle'.
Purchased 20 May 1924, with the preceding lot in the present sale.
