'LUDMILLA PITOEFF' A BRONZE BUST OF A WOMAN CAST AFTER A MODEL BY CHANA ORLOFF, THE MODEL 1924
Signed and numbered with foundry mark
Bronze casts and plasters of this bust, originally created in cement, are known.
The original owner of this cast, Edouard des Courières (see notice Lot 125) is the first one who published a book about the artist in 1927

On connait des versions de ce buste en ciment, plâtre et bronze. Une pièce en ciment est exposée au Salon des Tuileries, à Paris, 1924.
En 1927, Edouard des Courières (voire notice du lot 125) publie chez Gallimard la première monographie consacrée à l'artiste
