LATE PRECLASSIC, ca. 300 - 100 B.C.
of voluminous proportions, standing on rounded legs with both hands placed on her pregnant belly, shoulders sharply defined, the ovoid head with parted lips, large recessed eyes, bipartite coiffure and ears pierced for ornaments, painted overall in reddish brown, cream, and black, with geometrically-patterned leg tattoos and fret patterning on the face and torso.
