In Church Slavonic, 270 leaves, apparently complete, mostly with contemporary foliation in Slavonic numerals, 15-16 lines, written in large majuscule, headings and summaries in red, with some decorative headpieces and initials, with seventy-two full-page illuminations, the latter drawn in ink and coloured in washes of orange, brown, ochre, pale grey-blue, many signs of use and thumbed corners, a number of offset pages, some repairs, contemporary vellum over pasteboards, flyleaves from a German engraved text on contemporary aristocracy (including a date 1757), sewing disintegrated, the book now in three detached sections loosely enclosed in the binding
Leaves: 7 7/8 x 6 7/8 in. (20 x 17.5 cm)

In a German noble library by the middle of the 18th century when it was bound; sold at Sotheby's on 3 December 2002 (Sale L02242, lot 72)
