A Theophany is displayed on each wing: the Annunciation at the left, the Baptism of Christ at the right, and in the centre the Old Testament Trinity, painted with saturated colours and gold, against a beige background, the upper part of each wing shaped as an ogee arch, the central one being additionally decorated with imitations of the Russian churches' "onion" domes, the back of the brass frame each with a cut-out cross surrounded by floral motifs
