In Egyptianizing style, the shallow oval bowl with a single projecting handle in the form of a duck head turned back, a striated lotiform motif projecting from its mouth, the sides and the upper surface of the rim ornamented with bands of opposing triangles, similar bands bisecting the striated underside of the handle and along its join to the bowl, the underside of the bowl with a ten-petalled rosette
