The front of the funerary vessel sculpted in shallow relief with a departure scene, with a woman and a man clasping hands, the draped woman seated to the left on a klismos, extending her right hand to the bearded man to the right, the man enveloped in a himation, on a thin groundline, a Greek inscription incised above naming, "Kallistomache" and "Doson"
