The muscular hero depicted nude, standing with his left leg advanced, his right arm extended forward, the skin of the Nemean lion draped over his fore-arm, wielding a weapon in his fisted left hand, the right arm raised, once likely holding his club, the youthful oval face with cap-like closely-cropped hair
