Each formed from a hoop of spirally-twisted wire tapering to a single wire point, the head of a horned lion-griffin emerging from a collar ornamented with filigree tongues, plain wires and filigree spirals, the horns and crest made separately and inserted into the feline head, formed of two halves, with fine detail for the mane and whiskers, the open mouth to receive the tip of the hoop
