The convex oval stone engraved on both sides, one with Mars Gradivus, the god helmeted and nude but for a mantle around his waist, holding a spear in his right hand, a trophy in his left; the other with a seated Minerva wearing a crested helmet and tunic with long overfold, winged Victoria wearing a wreath standing on her outstretched right hand; mounted as a ring in a modern gold setting
