Comprising a brooch and a pair of ear clips, each designed as a flower head of six carved white coral petals centering upon a cluster of brilliant-cut diamonds, brooch made in 1997, ear clips made in 1996, brooch 5.5 cm and ear clips 4.0 cm diameter, with French assay mark for gold, in two fitted beige suede Van Cleef & Arpels cases

Patented in 1970, the "Rose de Noël" has been a universal favourite of many a woman for its timeless beauty. More recently, Uma Thurman wore a blue chalcedony "Rose de Noël" clip in her hair on occasion of the Golden Globe Awards in 2004 as illustrated in Marc Petit, Van Cleef & Arpels: Reflections of Eternity, Éditions Cercle d'Art, Paris 2006, plate 53.
