The asymmetrical necklace designed as an alternating double-row of oval-shaped rubies and pear-shaped diamonds along a rectangular-shaped diamond centre, made in 1959, 35.0 cm long, with French assay marks for platinum and gold

A typical example of the designs of the time, the rubies and diamonds of this wonderful necklace are arranged so as to give a subtle impression of nature in a very tasteful and chic design. The style is reminiscent of the necklaces made famous by the Duchess of Windsor.
