AN UNUSUAL CELADON JADE BOX AND COVER
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

Carved in the shape of a qin, with the strings on the top of the cover, partially obscured by a cloth scattered with butterflies and brocade balls of flowers on an interlocking fret pattern, secured to the musical instrument with a fluttering ribbon, the stone of an even sea-green tone
