AN APPLE-GREEN JADEITE NECKLACE AND PENDANT
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY

Composed of a long chain of links suspending an oval pendant pierced and carved on both sides with the female Daoist immortal, Lan Caihe, holding her attribute of a basket of flowers amidst scrolling clouds, inscribed with a Qianlong Yushang mark to the side, entirely carved from one piece of stone of varying pale and bright apple-green tones with a small area of russet
