Finely enamelled around the exterior with four gilt-framed roundels containing chrysanthemum sprays, growing beside begonia, balsam and daisies, divided by stylised flower sprays against a blue-enamelled ground incised with feathery scrolls, the interior decorated in underglaze-blue with a central medallion of flower sprays growing from a grassy mound, surrounded in the well by four further clusters of flowers
