Léonor Fini était une patiente du professeur Küss qui l'opéra en 1976. Durant cette année, elle peignit ce tableau qu'elle offrit au professeur Küss en temoignage de sa reconnaissance. La femme allongée sur la droite est un autoportrait de l'artiste.

Léonor Fini was a patient of Dr. Küss's when in 1976 she underwent an operation. It was at this moment she painted Mon calcul for Professeur Küss in recognition of his treatment. The reclining figure at right is the artist's self-portrait.
