The 12 bore doubtless to be regarded as the standard gun for ordinary driven game but, if additional speed or nimbleness was to be called for, as in grouse shooting, or some partridge shooting, the 20 bore would appeal. Furthermore, each gun has two sets of barrels of 28in. and 30in. respectively, the shorter with comparatively open choking and the longer much tighter. It can be seen therefore that the owner of these guns has in his possession the very best equipment for his sport in all forms. The guns are sold in almost new condition and if ordered today would cost in the region of 62,000 GBP per gun plus tax

Best traditional bold engraving retaining virtually all original colour hardening finish, hand-detachable locks, gold inlaid cocking indicators, rolled edge trigger guard, automatic safe, serial number and "safe" inlaid in gold, the chopper lump barrels engraved "Holland and Holland, 33 Bruton Street, London", the game ribs engraved "The Royal", the extra set of barrels identified by a gold inlaid star, highly figured exhibition grade semi-pistol grip stock with leather covered recoil pad
