The square caddy with cut corners enamelled on the sides with blue two birds, a butterfly and a flower, on blue ground, within geometric borders and scrolls above, the shoulders with engraved scrolling foliage and enamell the lift-off cover with spirals of flowers and a central dragon, reeded rim, silver-gilt mounted stopper, and the shovel with similar design to the sides depicting a bird, marked on base, stopper and shovel
