A YELLOW SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND NECKLACE AND A PAIR OF EARCLIPS, BY SVEN BOLTENSTERN
Of abstract design, the central yellow sapphire weighing 75.57 carats within the red and orange enamel spray part border with marquise and brilliant-cut diamond cluster detail, to the tapering diamond-set necklace, central pendant detaches to form a brooch, necklace 33.1 cm. inner circumference, brooch 6.2 cm. high, and a pair of diamond-set earclips of hoop design, each 6.7 cm. high
All with maker's mark SB for Sven Boltenstern
Accompanied by report No. 980690 dated 30 May 2006 from the Precious Stone Laboratory, London, stating that the yellow sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin, no evidence of heat treatment (4)
