Designed as ten panels set with calibré-cut emeralds, rubies and sapphires to the enamel scroll border and triple pearl spacers, the reverse enamelled in geometric foliate motifs in white, pink, green and blue (several pearls deficient), circa 1880, 17.8 cm. long, in red leather fitted case
