two lithographs printed in colours extensively handcoloured, 1937, from the set of 20 lithographs for the book by Dorgelès, proofs, next to the book edition published by Nouvelle Librairie de France, Paris, 1949 (the total edition was 110 of which 5 copies with a double suite and four lithographs with handcolouring), on cream wove paper, (1) signed in pencil and numbered 4/5 and inscribed Bon à Tirer, inscribed in pencil on the reverse Respecter les retouches. à la gauche de cette épreuve and Bon à Tirer Velin. sur Arches, with the blue ink Mourlot atelier stamp and stamped BAT followed by the pencil inscription no 1937/663, lighstained along the edges, a waterstain on the reverse faintly showing through; (2) signed in pencil and numbered 1/5 and inscribed Essai and Bon à Tirer and with the Mourlot number 6(?)65/1937, inscribed in pencil on the reverse ATTENTION de Respecter. les couleurs de l'épreuve retouchée and with pencil inscription Mourlot. Bon à Tirer, lightstained, with waterstains on the reverse, showing through,otherwise in very good condition, framed
