An original Goon Show Cast Script used by Wallace Greenslade and signed by the cast, the script from the 6th Series:
-- The Choking Horror, No. 147, transmission: Tuesday, 14th February 1956: 8.30-9.00 pm. 23pp. of mimeographed typescript, the script thought to be Greenslade's working document as indicated by the initialls W.G. in pencil on title page and the underlining and annotated amendments to his part in pencil and blue crayon on 13 of the 23 pages, the title page additionally signed in blue ballpoint pen by: Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers, Max Geldray, Wallace Greenslade, Ray Ellington, Pat Dixon and Bruce Campbell and signed and inscribed by Secombe: Harry Secombe (Wally told me not to take up all the bloody page so I haven't!)

The vendor was left this script by personal friends of the Greenslades.
Wallace Greenslade, for many years a BBC staff announcer, opened and closed each Goon show. He also did continuity and often had brief speaking parts. When he wasn't working on the show, he was a BBC news announcer.

This episode The Choking Horror provided a notable example of The Goon Show's unique library of sound effects. The "Sound Pictures" created by the Goons have been described as groundbreaking. In this episode ...they conjured up the image of the tops of all major buildings and landmarks in London being covered by a thick growth of hair....
