the booklet, 1950, sixteen pages with handcoloured illustrations after Karel Appel and texts by Hugo Claus, on cream wove paper, signed in pen and blue ink by the artist and the author, with dedication, numbered 51 (there were 200 copies with handcolouring), published in the series Handreeks, Cobra-bibliotheek, no. 1, Paris, 1950, pale lightstaining along the edges, few very minor defects, loose in the original titled handcoloured paperfolder, the spine split, few soft stains and a very small paperloss at the lower right corner, otherwise in vey good condition, in the original paper dustcover
