Only two versions of this gun were made both with different functions. The gun in this lot originally incorporated a 50 calibre grenade launcher which has subsequently been stripped out. Identical apart from the interior gun, the tankbusters were used for different effects.

The tankbusters are seen when Bond, posing as a diamond dealer about to exchange his case of diamonds for high-tech weapons from North Korea's Colonel Moon, is exposed as a British Agent 007. Colonel Moon turns "our new tankbuster" on Bond's helicopter forcing Bond to escape on one of the land hovercraft where the tankbuster is used again by Moon. At the end of the chase, Moon apparently dies as his hovercraft plunges over a precipice, and Bond is captured by the North Koreans.
