The florally engraved gorge case mounted with flower-inlaid pietre dure panels to sides and rear door, conforming mask to the white enamel Roman chapter disc, signed J. KLAFTENBERGER/157 REGENT - STREET/LONDON, blued steel hands, alarm disc below, the eight day spring barrels movement with silvered platform to bimetallic lever balance, strike/repeat/alarm on two gongs to back plate with repeat signature and numbered 1591, the underside with three-position sonnerie adjustment; key
5¾ in. (14.5 cm.) high, handle down
